HEAT POWER HOSTS STEAM INNOVATION DAY

On the 7th of March Heat Power BV hosted the steam innovation day in collaboration with the Dutch steam platform, InnoEnergy and the Eindhoven University of Technology. During this day 30 industry representatives gathered to share and envision the future of steam production and use in the Dutch industry. The day started with 5 presentations of breakthrough technologies that will influence the sector in the coming years. After a plenary discussion the Thermo Fluids lab was visited, where diverse prototypes and showcases were displayed. The day finished with a co-creation session on the future vision for the steam intensive industries. HEAT POWER AT ECOSUMMIT

Heat Power BV will be present at the Ecosummit in Stockholm on the 12th of September. Ecosummit accelerates smart green startups, investors and corporates in Berlin, Amsterdam, Stockholm, London and Paris. At Ecosummit we will pitch the RCG system as one of  33 speakers including 23 startups the Swedish Energy Agency, Invest Stockholm, Nasdaq, Vattenfall, Statkraft Ventures, Shell Technology Ventures, Eneco, InnoEnergy and Germany Trade & Invest. INDUSTRIAL PILOT FUNDING ACQUIRED

Heat Power B.V. has acquired funding from RVO for the first small scale pilot! The pilot will take place at a wood processing plant, a perfect application of the RCG system. The existing biomass waste stream will be used for the production of steam and electrical power using the RCG principle. This small scale pilot will demonstrate the ability of the RCG prototype to operate outside the lab and will serve as preliminary test for a 250 kWe pilot factory scheduled for 2018. First pilot test results are expected by the end of the summer 2017.

NEW TEAM MEMBER

We welcome our new team member: Tom Huizer! Tom holds a Msc. in sustainable energy technology and is a KIC Innoenergy master school graduate. Furthermore he has received entrepreneurship and business management training from the ESADE business school in Spain and is currently completing his professional doctorate in engineering.

NEW OFFICE

Heat power has moved to its new office in the Kennispoort in Eindhoven. Since September Heat Power is located at the 6th floor of the Kennispoort. This new and modern office will accommodate us for the coming years and we hope to welcome you soon!
